Reserving Your Date

A signed photography agreement and a 30% booking deposit are required to reserve your date. Your deposit is applied toward your total package price.

An inquiry or consultation does not reserve a photography session or wedding date. Your booking is confirmed once the agreement and deposit have been received.

Payments

The remaining balance is due:

  • Couples, headshots, portraits, and editorial sessions: day of session.

  • Weddings: 30 days before your wedding date.

Bookings made within these payment windows require full payment to reserve the date.

Any approved additional services or expenses will be itemized separately. If a payment is overdue, I’ll contact you before making any changes to your booking.

Cancellations & Deposits

Your deposit reserves time specifically for you and covers the planning that begins before your session. If you cancel, the deposit is non-refundable, except where required by law.

For cancellations made before the final balance is due, payments beyond the deposit will be refunded, less any separately approved, non-recoverable expenses.

Cancellation terms that apply after the final payment deadline will be outlined in your photography agreement before you book.

For couples, headshots, portraits, and editorial sessions, please provide at least 72 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule.

Your deposit may be transferred once to a new date within 90 days of your original session, subject to availability. Any studio, permit, or other third-party rescheduling costs will be discussed with you.

For illness or an emergency, please reach out as soon as possible so we can discuss the options.

Wedding date changes depend on availability and require an updated agreement. If I’m available, your payments may be transferred to the new date, with any changes in pricing or expenses confirmed in writing.

If I’m unavailable, the cancellation terms in your wedding agreement will apply.

If weather makes an outdoor session unsafe or unsuitable, we’ll discuss an alternate location or reschedule without an additional photography rescheduling fee.

Any location or studio costs will be shared for your approval. Wedding weather plans will be discussed ahead of your day.

Arriving for Your Session

Please arrive ready to begin at your scheduled time. Outfit changes and movement between backgrounds are included in your session time.

Late arrivals may shorten your session, as additional time cannot be guaranteed. If you’re running late, please let me know as soon as possible.

Locations & Additional Expenses

Travel, parking, permits, admission, studio rental, and other production expenses are separate unless your proposal specifically includes them.

All anticipated additional costs will be shared before booking. Any new expenses will require your approval.

If I Need to Cancel

If I’m unable to photograph your booking, I’ll notify you as soon as possible. You may choose to discuss rescheduling or receive a refund of payments for photography services I cannot provide. Any replacement photographer would require your approval.
